Best to change the fan in this bracket to another quieter, slower turning fan and connect it directly to the PSU..Shown in the Dell630i pics with the Noctua NF-SA12 FLX fan. For power to the upgraded fan, use the 3 x 4 pin SATA fan cable adapter and connect the front intake fan directly to the PSU. This would be the easiest way to power the fan. In the case where SSD is not detecting the 3.5", the 3.5" is detected by UEFI , disk management did not yield any offline disk. 4. The external enclosure for the 3.5" need further checks as it stopped working. Regardless, the new 3.5" is proven to work internally when it is alone. When I try to connect this to a SATA cable into the power supply, the power supply throws out a warning light and the case fan lights no longer turn on. Since this is a step in the opposite direction I chose to disconnect this cable. It doesn't seem like it needs the power from the mobo and the power supply.
